David D. Le Norman
Mr. Le Norman has over 30 years of experience in the oil industry ranging from working in field operations as a roustabout, pumper, and as a rig hand on a workover rig. Over 20 years of that experience was as a Petroleum Engineer in various engineering, business development, and management positions for Texaco prior to founding Le Norman Energy in 1995. Since that time, Mr. Le Norman has founded Le Norman Partners, Crusader Energy Corporation, Crusader Energy II, LLC, Crusader Energy III, Knight Energy Group, LLC, White River Energy LLC, TLP Energy LLC, and Templar Energy, LLC and also served as a Senior Vice President with Patina Oil & Gas. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming, master’s work in Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University and a M.B.A. from Oklahoma City University.

Mr. McCormick has served as Vice President in the Le Norman companies since January 2007. He has more than 20 years of land management experience in the Mid-Continent region, Texas, Louisiana, and the Williston Basin, managing leasing and drilling plays along with large A&D transactions. Mr. McCormick was previously employed in similar capacities by Ricks Exploration Inc., Concho Oil and Gas, Chesapeake Energy Corporation and Encore Acquisition Company. Mr. McCormick is an active member of the AAPL. Mr. McCormick attended the University of Oklahoma.
Joe C. Pukaite
VP, Finance CFO
Mr. Pukaite joined Templar Energy in March 2017. He has over 20 years of experience in both financial and operational positions, working for upstream oil and gas, financial and energy service companies. Prior to Templar, Mr. Pukaite was employed by Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas LLC where he served most recently as Treasurer, overseeing all areas of corporate finance, risk management and serving as principle contact for external stakeholders. Mr. Pukaite received his M.B.A. from Rice University and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University
Mr. Simmons joined Templar Energy in August of 2013. Prior to joining Templar, he worked for Chesapeake Energy in operations throughout the company at both the corporate and field level. Mr. Simmons served as the Superintendent in the Haynesville Shale play responsible for over 1.5 BCFD gas production and multiple fracture stimulation crews helping while achieving 1 million man-hours without an OSHA recordable safety incident. He has been involved in over 1,000 well completions throughout his career and involved in the drilling and completion of over 200 horizontal wells at Templar Energy as Operations Manager. Mr. Simmons is an active member in the API, AADE, SPE, and OIPA organizations. He holds a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University and M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Harris joined Templar Energy in 2017 as Vice President of Legal. Prior to joining Templar, he served over 8 years as in-house counsel for Chesapeake Energy. In this role, he advised the land department on statutory, regulatory, and title related issues. Before entering the oil and gas industry, Mr. Harris was in private practice for 8 years at a commercial law firm in Oklahoma City where he litigated cases at both the state and federal levels. Mr. Harris is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, West Virginia and Colorado. He has also been admitted to the tribal courts of the Cherokee Nation and the Chickasaw Nation. Mr. Harris holds a B. S. from Oklahoma City University and a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma.
Ms. Vermillion joined Templar Energy in January 2013 and served as Vice President of Accounting before moving to her current position as Vice President of Planning in 2018. Prior to joining Templar, Amanda was an audit manager at Grant Thornton where she had over eight years of experience in public accounting serving clients in numerous industries including oil and gas, midstream petroleum marketing and distribution, and others. Her experience includes the initial public offering process, quarterly and annual public filings and integrated audits of financial statements and internal controls. Ms. Vermillion is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants and SPE. She earned a B.S. in Accounting from the Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
Ms. Jones joined the Le Norman group in September 2011 and served as Controller prior to becoming Vice President of Accounting in 2018. She is responsible for overseeing the accounting functions for the Company’s oil & gas assets as well as coordinating with third parties as it relates to financial statement audits, corporate tax preparation, ad valorem taxes and other special projects. From June 2006 up to the time she joined the Le Norman group, Ms. Jones was in public accounting as an Audit Manager with Grant Thornton responsible for the planning, team implementation, and reporting for both public and private company audits. Ms. Jones is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. She earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and a M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Hart joined the Le Norman team in December 2013. Prior to joining Templar, he worked for Chesapeake Energy in various engineering roles within the Anadarko Basin. Mr. Hart has been involved in the valuation of all acquisition and divestiture opportunities while at Templar. His engineering experience includes extensive development knowledge of horizontal reservoirs, economic evaluation, risk assessment, corporate reserves oversight including direct coordination with Netherland Sewell & Associates for corporate reserve audits. He is an active member of SPE, Young Professionals in Energy, ADAM, OIPA, OEE and OCGS. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech.
Mr. Johnson joined the Le Norman companies beginning in March 2013. Prior to joining Templar, he worked at Chesapeake Energy in various geoscience positions with increasing responsibility followed by SandRidge Energy as a new ventures geologist. Mr. Johnson has analyzed over 30 million acres in the Anadarko Basin where he recommended lease acquisitions, property acquisitions, and development strategies. Mr. Johnson has geologically steered more than 100 horizontal wells in multiple targets across the Anadarko Basin. He served as an Oklahoma City Geological Society board member and is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. Mr. Johnson earned a B.S. in Geology from Texas Christian University, a M.S. in Petroleum Geology from Oklahoma State University and a M.B.A from the University of Central Oklahoma.
